Principal’s welcome

Welcome to Cleveland District State High School, a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS), an International Baccalaureate World School offering the IB Diploma . I invite you to visit the only school in the Redlands with international accreditation, one of south east Queensland's most popular schools, enquire about enrolment and inspect our facilities.

At Cleveland High, you will be part of an established school with a caring staff devoted to the creation of a safe supportive environment where all students are valued, individual differences are respected and International students are welcomed. Our students are encouraged to achieve their personal best, develop a strong work ethic and extend their talents in as many ways as possible. With extensive co-curricula opportunities, Cleveland high students are challenged to develop their academic, sporting citizenship and cultural talents.

What do we stand for?
"Near enough is never good enough." We believe in working hard and having fun. The data from our school opinion survey reveals that our students, parents and staff believe that this is a good school – one in which they want to work! Our student opinion data is well above state and like schools and among the best in the Queensland. Most importantly our students indicate they feel safe, they are happy and they are learning!

Cleveland High is a great school. Our students can achieve whatever they wish, can get whatever results they want if they are not prepared to accept anything less than their best. All members of our learning community are committed to helping young people reach their potential at school and make a successful transition to work or further study

Cleveland High encourages all students to strive for personal excellence and be “always worthy” in an inclusive environment where all members of our school community are welcomed.
