Pre-arrival information - airport pick up

On request, we can organise an airport pick-up to students so they are taken to their homestay accommodation on their initial arrival to commence a course of study. This service is provided to students free of charge.

The homestay coordinator will arrange for a driver from Bel-air limos to meet and greet students at the airport and have them transported to their homestays.

Keep your passport with your student visa and a pen in your cabin bag, as well as your homestay family information and contact details for the homestay coordinator in the event that there is a delay or problem at the airport.

The airline staff will give you an Australian immigration and customs declaration form as your flight nears your destination. Complete the form on the plane and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you are unsure of the answers to any questions.

When you arrive in Australia, you will be stopped at an immigration checkpoint and asked to hand in your passport and forms. You may be asked questions about your stay before your passport is stamped and handed back to you. (Note: It is illegal to use a camera or phone in this area of the airport.)

Once you have passed through the immigration checks, you should collect your baggage.

look for the driver who will be holding a sign with your name on it, where your driver will take you directly to your host family who will be ready to welcome you into their homes.
