Homestay program

Cleveland District State High School international students are accommodated in a range of homes that are in close proximity to the school. Student accommodation is managed by Cleveland District State High School's homestay coordinator, Carol Laroche. Each family is personally visited and the home is inspected. When the inspection takes place we look for signs of a clean, caring and friendly home. All homestay providers of students under 18 have a suitability card issued by the commission for children and young people. This card shows that the provider does not have an Australian criminal history.
