Multicultural Day

Japanese kimonos, Chinese cheongsams, French berets, German bread, Irish dancing, Italian cannoli and Aussie students, all made for a colourful Multicultural Day at Cleveland District State High School on Friday.

Students dressed in national costumes from 75 countries and sold traditional fare from their homelands at the event, held on the last day of the third term every year.

After a parade of students in their costumes, Aunty Joan Hendriks addressed the crowd before indigenous dancers Josh Walker and Wendy Ingram performed.
