In 2006 14 year old Megan attended the Creative Generation show and was so inspired that she decided then and there that she wanted to part of the dance team for 2007 performances.
Towards the end of 2006, with the assistance of Cleveland District State High School dance teacher Ainslie Murray, Megan put together an audition tape - including vision of her performing classical ballet, up tempo jazz and slow contemporary jazz dances. |

Cleveland District State High School students were privileged to enjoy a visit from a Mathematics and Computing expert Mr. Mark Barry of QUT Garden’s Point campus.
He gave the year 12 Maths B and C students a morning to remember with a stunning demonstration of current mathematical software and modelling techniques. |

 In mid May AFL Queensland held a motivational lecture for Cleveland High students. This visit included two Brisbane Lions players, Hayden Kiel, a younger new recruit and Ash McGrath, one of their star forwards.
About 50 students were provided with information about life skills such as goal setting, teamwork and effort. All enjoyed the presentation and many contributed to worthwhile discussions with the players before autographs and photos. |
