One in five Australians will experience a mental illness. Mental Health Week is an annual event aimed to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing in the wider community, to increase community awareness and education about mental health issues and to encourage participation in life enhancing lifestyles.

Recreational Reading
Program
(from here on called 8RecR -
but only because that is shorter and easier!)
8RecR is a wide reading program for the Year 8 students of Cleveland District SHS. It is part of the broader approach to literacy across the school curriculum. Wide reading means reading your own choice of reading material, at your own pace, for your own enjoyment.
