Holly of Year 12 is standing next to her drawing which was entered into the Ministerial Art Awards this year. This artwork along with many others will be featured in the upcoming Arts Expo on Wednesday, 17 October, 5pm-7pm. This year it will be held in the Community Hall. Cost is a gold coin. Food and drinks will be on sale. There will also be a Wearablbe Art Parade presented by Year Nine Art Teachers. It promises to be a great event.
Megan, Living in the Creative Generation
In 2006 14 year old Megan attended the Creative Generation show and was so inspired that she decided then and there that she wanted to part of the dance team for 2007 performances.
Towards the end of 2006, with the assistance of Cleveland District State High School dance teacher Ainslie Murray, Megan put together an audition tape - including vision of her performing classical ballet, up tempo jazz and slow contemporary jazz dances.
